Requirements

High School degree or equivalent (college a plus)
Forklift Certification and experience is desired
Must be able to work assigned hours, Monday-Friday
Must have excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work independently, be self-managed and motivated to meet deadlines
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner
Must be able to endure prolonged periods of standing and walking
Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and Fit for duty testing.

Responsibilities

Manages order selection, shipping, receiving, and other basic warehouse activities.
Manages personnel to ensure that all necessary functions are performed.
Schedules order selection and replenishment accordingly, including utilization of WMS for wave planning.
Manages loading and unloading of product to ensure completion in an efficient and safe manner.
Leads and directs workflow.
Monitors employee(s) productivity and accuracy to ensure efficiency.
Enforces compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures and rules.
Maintains company quality and quantity standards.
Time keeping oversight.
Screens and provides input on hiring warehouse personnel.
Maintains all safety activities.
Ensures operations are conducted in accordance with OSHA standards.
Other duties as assigned.
