About The Position

Acme Tools is seeking a Warehouse Lead for their evening shift. This role involves supporting all sales distribution points through various warehousing tasks. Requirements

Ability to work the 2nd shift (1:00pm-10:00pm, Monday-Friday).
2+ years of warehouse operations experience.
A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Strong computer skills & ability to learn new software.
Willingness and ability to work on powered equipment (forklift, etc.).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 10 hours.
Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
Ability to continuously climb and descend stairs safely.

Responsibilities

Perform various warehousing tasks to support all sales distribution points.
Assist with training new Warehouse Associates, including process observations, root cause analysis for quality defects, and providing feedback and coaching.
Unload freight from trucks and trailers using manual and motorized equipment.
Compare goods received against packing slips for order accuracy and inspect for damage, notifying supervisors of discrepancies.
Scan or enter product into the inventory control system or related computer program.
Maintain consistent and adequate stock of product on the sales floor and warehouse shelves in a neat and orderly condition.
Use manual or motorized equipment to transport inventory between the warehouse and store locations.
Lead in scheduled inventory events, such as physical inventory counts.
Prepare shipments for customers or other Acme Tools locations.
Accurately pick items from customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions, and prepare shipments.
Load product onto trucks, trailers, or customer vehicles.
Occasionally drive a company vehicle to transport items from the warehouse to customers or to pick up items from various locations.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to ensure accessibility and safety.
Assist with property maintenance, including lawn care and snow removal.
Maintain a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and improving safety standards and reporting suspicious activity.
Complete related tasks as assigned.
