About The Position

The warehouse is the backbone of our jobsite execution—ensuring crews have the right materials, at the right time, in the right condition. We’re looking for a hands-on, organized, and driven Warehouse Lead to take ownership of our warehouse operations and support the field through accuracy, efficiency, and leadership. This role is critical to keeping our projects moving and our teams set up to win. As the Warehouse Lead, you will oversee the daily operations of Streib’s warehouse, ensuring all materials, tools, and equipment are received, organized, tracked, and distributed efficiently. You’ll lead by example—maintaining a clean, safe, and high-performing warehouse environment while supporting field teams, project managers, and procurement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in organization and accountability, and is ready to lead from the front.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, or material management experience (construction or electrical preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Proven ability to lead, hold accountability, and drive results
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and effective communication with both field and office teams
  • Basic understanding of electrical materials and tools is a strong plus
  • Experience with inventory systems or tracking tools preferred
  • Forklift experience (or willingness to become certified)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, staging, organizing, and distributing materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of electrical materials, tools, and equipment
  • Coordinate material deliveries and pickups with field teams and Project Managers
  • Ensure jobsite materials are staged accurately and ready for deployment
  • Track and manage tool check-in/check-out processes and accountability
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards at all times
  • Lead and support warehouse team members, setting expectations and holding accountability
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Work closely with purchasing to ensure timely ordering and availability of materials
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline processes
  • Support prefab operations and material preparation as needed
