About The Position

This role is an opportunity for an associate's next step towards management. You will gain comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of receiving/unloading or loading operations within a warehouse facility, working independently or in teams with minimal supervision. You will interact frequently with customers' staff and outside delivery personnel, emphasizing a positive and friendly demeanor. The role involves overseeing a specific area to ensure consistent workflow and meet customer expectations, and handling the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.

Requirements

• High-energy individual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and very physical environment.
• Ability to lift and carry 25-75lbs.
• Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-shift meetings.
• Lead stretching exercises before each shift.
• Perform safety observations.
• Support management.
• Provide coaching.
• Conduct training.
• Communicate with leadership.
• Perform yard marshalling duties.
• Oversee a specified area within the work environment to maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations.
• Handle the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles by using a forklift, pallet jack or by hand.
