Requirements

  • High School Education is required.
  • Computer literacy essential; particularly Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, Excel and Word.
  • Minimum 2-3 years work experience with MRP/ERP software (SAP experience is preferred).
  • Forklift experience is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Accounting, Business, or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
  • APICS(American Production and Inventory Control Society) training or certification preferred.
  • Prior warehouse management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures warehouse area is compliant with all Safety and 5S requirements.
  • Support daily shipping and receiving activities, including preparation of orders and required documentation
  • Verify packaging quality prior to shipment and escalate concerns as needed
  • Monitors and reports on all manufacturing transactions including receipt of raw materials, work in process transactions, finished goods production, raw material levels, and similar activities.
  • Ensures all warehouse audits daily, monthly, and quarterly are complete.
  • Segregates product to avoid confusion and eliminate errors
  • Monitors and maintains accuracy of shipments by utilizing roll tracking and computer-based systems
  • Perform and support cycle count activities and report discrepancies
  • Ensure FIFO inventory rotation
  • Monitor quality of packaging from manufacturing
  • Monitor and maintain accuracy of inventories levels of Finished Goods by line, customer and item.
  • Coordinate the activities of shipping/receiving clerks and material handlers
  • Responsible for warehouse personnel forklift and safety training
  • Responsible for ensuring forklifts is safe and operational daily.
  • Responsible for preventing nonconforming product from shipping to our customer
  • Escalate nonconforming materials or process issues to the Operations Manager
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse using 5S.
  • Other duties as assigned.
