We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as a Warehouse Lead - Day Shift / Hourly!

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license
  • The skill and ability to operate an order picker and all forklift equipment (obtained by passing OSHA required written test and demonstration)
  • The ability to lift products (up to 20 lbs. 2/3 or more of the time, up to 50 lbs. 1/3 of the time), stand for 8 hours a day, count and write

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with warehouse software, Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), SAP or Oracle preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining awareness of safety principles and following company safety standards
  • Inventory control of goods (counting, recording, reporting)
  • Lean champion overseeing projects and champion of safety in the plant
  • Maintaining order and placing all stock in designated areas
  • Organizing goods and assisting with designating stocking locations as needed
  • Quality control of product (identify and report defective, damaged, or otherwise bad products), reworking or scraping as required
  • Serving as a back-up to Forklift and Order Fillers
  • Wrapping skids of product for shipment, staging, recording and loading of internal transfers
  • Helping out in other locations and departments as necessary
  • General shop cleanliness.
  • Any other responsibilities deemed necessary by leadership
