If so, we are seeking a Warehouse Lead who will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise and direction to warehouse staff to meet branch goals, operational procedures, and thrill Berlin customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years warehouse experience operating a forklift required
  • Demonstrated leadership; provides subject matter expertise and training to others on system and process related activities
  • Required to take and pass the Company Forklift Certification program, which ensures you will be able to operate a forklift in accordance with Berlin Packaging’s safety guidelines. Failure to pass the exam results in the Company ending your employment.
  • Ability to complete tasks and solve problems with limited guidance and direction
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to learn

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise on warehouse systems, processes, and procedures; train and provide direction to warehouse associates and forklift operators.
  • Plan the shipping and receiving schedule based on 99.9% On Time Delivery, as well as efficiency of resources performing tasks.
  • Complete appropriate processes for accurate inventory counts pre and post receipt/shipment.
  • Pull and prepare shipments for customers, ensuring that quantities and items match the order.
  • Ensure all incoming product meets the Berlin quality standards
  • Ensure all incoming ware is in acceptable condition and quantities match purchase order
  • Fulfill orders to meet Berlin standards
  • Maintain efficient, accurate, and orderly warehouse to sustain all cGMP and ISO Standards
  • Maintain safe working environment
  • Work with internal groups to service the customer and deliver branch metrics
  • Serve as a role model for the employee portion of the Berlin Values by demonstrating a strong work ethic, teamwork, loyalty, innovation, productivity, and driving profitable results
  • Other tasks as required
