In the warehouse, this is what we do: Lead, train, and manage a team of warehouse staff responsible for selecting and preparing orders, fostering a culture of teamwork, accuracy, and alignmenet with Pepi's core values Conduct regular team meetings to review safety protocols, order fulfillment metrics, and orperational priorities, ensuring clear communications and accountability Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Fleet and Facilities, Culinary Center) to ensure seamless order preparation and handoff to delivery teams Oversee product procurement, ensuring timely ordering and receipt of goods to maintain adequate inventory levels for vending, micro-market, and dining center orders Manage the organization of all warehouse goods, optimizing storage layouts and processes to enhance efficiency and accessibility for order selection Monitor warehouse budgets, procurement costs, and labor expenses, implementing cost-saving measures while maintainng quality and service standards Maintain accurate inventory records and order preparation logs, providing regular reports to the Director of Corporate Support on stock levels and team performance QualificationsYour opportunity/benefits... Job Qualifications Education: Accociate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may substitue Forklift certification or willingness to obtain is a plus Experience: 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or order fulfillment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role. Background in food service or distribution warehouse management preferred Competency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, PowerBI, and other applications. Ability to quickly learn additional internal software as needed. Physical Demands: Lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling up to 40lbs (+-30%) of the time Standing/walking/climbing (+-90%)of the time Kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling and bending (+-50%)of the time Reaching/handling/feeling (+-90%) of the time Use of finger dexterity (+- 90%) of the time.
