Warehouse Lead - 1st Shift

About The Position

The Warehouse Lead oversees an assigned team and warehouse area to keep operations running smoothly and help deliver exceptional customer solutions. The role supports warehouse management and is responsible for operational processes, inventory accuracy, timely and accurate order completion, team task assignments, training and coaching, customer service, and adherence to company policies and safety procedures. The position is scheduled for the first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
At least 1 year of SAP experience.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.
At least 1 year of experience as a supervisor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Skills in inventory control and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

Oversee operational processes to maintain correct inventory levels and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
Train and coach the warehouse team, provide developmental opportunities, and recommend performance improvement actions as needed.
Use the warehouse management system correctly and maintain appropriate work documents.
Establish, maintain, and promote exceptional customer service.
Interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
Safely operate various equipment and tools.
Provide support and backup to warehouse management.
Track orders and investigate problems.
Catalog and track goods and supplies.
Maintain a clean environment in adherence to the 7S program.
Work safely to protect yourself and team members.
