About The Position

The Warehouse Lead works closely with the Quality Assurance Supervisor to establish, create, implement, and enforce company initiatives/policies while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and quality for internal and external customers. This role provides daily work direction to the team to increase efficiency and accuracy by communicating with fellow Leads to ensure a smooth flow of product.

Requirements

A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a warehouse or quality position; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
Experience using warehouse equipment and RF scanner preferred.
Ability to learn and perform all processes as needed.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-solving skills.
Strong English language, math, reading, and writing skills.
Experience using business tools such as PC or Laptop, Outlook, PDF, Word, Excel, BY/Cognos, and inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between management and team members.
Speak respectfully of the company and team members.
Enforce company policies and procedures.
Provide feedback to the Supervisor when inconsistencies are observed.
Meet deadlines and goals established by the department supervisor or manager.
Lead by example, be approachable, follow through on promises and commitments, and demonstrate consistency between words and actions.
Maintain and enforce company Safety and Security policies.
Recognize the impact of own decisions on the company, customers, and team members.
Support the supervisor with establishing goals based on department headcount, delegating tasks, using reporting to monitor progress, and providing updates to leadership on obstacles and issues.
