About The Position

This role executes day-to-day work activities as directed by the supervisor. The Warehouse Lead is responsible for positively communicating the supervisor's directions and leading by example to ensure workflow consistency with business needs. This position involves working with team members to promote and identify safety and continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
1 - 2 years of experience in Warehouse Operations
Must be able to commit to Ruan's value statement by acting with integrity in everything we do.

Must have strong computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must have the ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people.
Must have the ability to lead and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to the team through effective communications, coaching, appraising, and recognizing, under the direction of the Supervisor.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Continuously promote safety, including accident review and improvement opportunities.
Ensure work is available for operators and complete tasks on time.
Direct the flow of material, either inbound or outbound.
Give direction to Forklift Operators or Warehouse Associates to move resources to available work.
Coordinate with fleet dispatch on schedule changes, cancellations, etc.
May cover in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor when needed.
Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
