About The Position

Processing and requisitioning of supplies; delivering, and packaging materials for shipment. Supervise and coordinate Warehouse Personnel and activities which include the receipt, storage, to meet productivity goals, operating objectives, and warehouse maintenance functions. Coordinate new and current employee training to include, but not limited to the following: personal safety, forklift safety, warehouse policy and procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve discrepancies related to shipping, receiving and inventory. Research errors and implement corrective actions. Prepare work schedules to include, but not limited to: work assignments/rotations, employee training, breaks, overtime assignments, and coverage for vacation/personal absences. Address and review personnel complaints and grievances ensuring compliance with appropriate company procedures and they are resolved effectively and efficiently without preferences or judgment. Assist Full-Time Supervisor in developing plans and programs for process improvement. Assist Full-Time Supervisor in compiling productivity and reliability statistics for management. Complete daily sanitation schedule and process end-shift paperwork. Ensure that warehouse is maintained in a sanitary manner according to Company standards. Consistently inform Full-Time Supervisor of potential problems and changes. Act as backup in the absence of Full-Time Supervisor. Review and approve employee time and attendance records. Address performance problems through corrective action and dismissal.
