About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Lead to support our Warehouse Supervisor in overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring efficient workflow throughout the facility. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating daily activities, providing direction to warehouse team members, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the safe movement of materials. The Warehouse Lead serves as a backup to the Warehouse Supervisor and may independently manage warehouse operations as business needs require.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems and programs.
  • Proven reliability, dependability, and strong attendance record.
  • 2+ years of experience driving a forklift.

Nice To Haves

  • Clamp truck experience.
  • SAP experience.
  • One or more years of leadership, lead, or team coordination experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Office, and Teams.
  • SAP experience preferred
  • 1+ year of leadership or lead experience preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a backup to the Warehouse Supervisor and provide leadership coverage as needed.
  • Lead and support warehouse team members to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations.
  • Operate forklifts and clamp trucks to safely load, unload, move, and store materials.
  • Process receiving documentation, including pack slips and related transactions in SAP.
  • Generate picking paperwork, labels, and Bills of Lading using SAP.
  • Conduct quality audits of staged product and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with inventory management and perform inventory audits and cycle counts.
  • Train, mentor, and coach team members on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and systems.
  • Support onboarding and training of new employees, including safety expectations and warehouse processes.
  • Assist with the implementation and training of new systems, procedures, and process improvements.
  • Cross-train across multiple local warehouse locations to support operational flexibility and coverage needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
