About The Position

This role is an opportunity for an associate looking to advance into management. The position involves learning all aspects of warehouse receiving/unloading or loading operations, working independently or in teams with minimal supervision. The role requires a high level of direct contact with customer staff and outside delivery personnel, emphasizing a positive and friendly demeanor. The Warehouse Lead will oversee a specific area to ensure consistent workflow and meet customer expectations, and will be responsible for moving pallets and cases on and off trailers using equipment or by hand.

Requirements

High-energy individual with a strong work ethic.
Ability to perform fast-paced and very physical work.
Ability to lift and carry 25-75lbs.
Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but training will be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Conduct pre-shift meetings.
Lead stretching exercises before each shift.
Perform safety observations.
Support management.
Provide coaching.
Conduct training.
Communicate with leadership.
Perform yard marshalling duties.
Learn all aspects of receiving/unloading or loading operations within a warehouse facility.
Work alone or in teams with minimal supervision.
Relate in a positive, friendly manner with customer's staff and outside delivery personnel.
Oversee a specified area within the work environment to maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations.
Handle the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles by using a forklift, pallet jack or by hand.
