The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, coordinating loaders, maintaining accurate inventory of raw materials and finished goods, and ensuring the efficient movement of materials between facilities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational flow, safety, and compliance with food safety standards. The Warehouse Lead will coordinate warehouse staff to meet shipping, receiving, and production demands, receive and process Pick Lists, and oversee trailer loading and unloading. They will also complete Trailer Inspection Reports, inspect questionable product, and verify trailer contents and documentation for accuracy before release. Performing SAP transactions for both shipping and receiving functions, managing inbound/outbound drivers, and communicating with dispatchers to resolve issues are key responsibilities. The role involves collaborating with production leaders to maintain a smooth production flow, maintaining accurate film and material inventory, and ensuring forklift operators follow all safety protocols, GMPs, and housekeeping standards. Additionally, the Warehouse Lead will enforce food safety and quality standards as outlined in SQF guidelines, participate in monthly safety and training activities, and support Continuous Improvement and 5S initiatives. Fostering effective communication and teamwork with staff and management is also essential.
