Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.
  • Must be able to become certified on operating equipment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to problem solve and perform basic math.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Capability for continuous standing and repetitive hand/finger movements at line speed, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds (including above the head/below the waist).
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
  • Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
  • Must practice good personal hygiene.
  • Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry experience is a plus, but we hire based on attitude and potential—we train for skill!
  • Previous food manufacturing and Warehouse/Shipping experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Warehouse Supervisor by leading the team and ensuring daily tasks are completed.
  • Ensure proper receiving and movement of raw, ready to eat products or supplies are accounted for.
  • Load and unload trailers as needed.
  • Ensure materials are delivered to correct locations.
  • Ensure items are stored in the correct locations.
  • Use hand trucks, conveyors, sorting bins and pallet jack.
  • Use a box knife to open boxes and packages.
  • Record and communicate shipment data such as weight, charges, damages, and discrepancies.
  • Provide assistance to the supervisor and or manager as needed.
  • Serve as the guardian of product quality, strictly maintaining proper meat quality and temperature standards. Ensure 100% adherence to food safety standards by completing all required HACCP documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
