About The Position
The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including distribution, shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This role involves leading and training warehouse staff, implementing process improvements, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating logistics. The Lead will also perform hands-on tasks, including closing paperwork, verifying payments, scanning invoices, and following up on communications with customers, management, drivers, and associates. A key aspect of the role is to lead by example, foster a positive work environment, and help develop team members to maximize production while adhering to company core values.

Responsibilities
- Assign duties to hourly employees per shift.
- Communicate shift progress with upper management.
- Track employee attendance.
- Witness and issue discipline to hourly employees.
- Manage starting and ending duties required per shift.
- Perform duties essential in closing paperwork, deposit, verifying payments and scanning invoices.
- Follow up on emails from customers and management.
- Follow up with Drivers and Warehouse Associates throughout the shift.
- Prioritize orders for the next day.
- Report all issues.
- Work closely with the facility manager to help lead the daily warehouse operations, including distribution, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Lead and train warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company policies.
- Help implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in warehouse distribution.
- Help ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Help coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Perform regular audits of inventory levels and assist with cycle counts.
- Utilize forklifts and other materials handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with the team to fulfill orders accurately.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks as required while ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
