About The Position

The Warehouse Lead Associate will offer training and coaching support for the warehouse team, field escalation issues, offer support coverage for the Warehouse Supervisor, and provide additional project support for warehouse operations. The Warehouse Lead Associate will assist in preparing orders for warehouse storage and organize and/or stage materials within the warehouse by company or customer specifications for received or ready-to-send orders. Will use hand and power tools, and powered equipment necessary for the storage or movement of items.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment in a warehouse environment.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling.
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day training, coaching, and guidance to warehouse team members to support productivity, quality, and adherence to established processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during supervisor absences, assisting with issue resolution, workflow coordination, and escalation of operational concerns as needed.
  • Support warehouse leadership with special projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, efficiency, and service performance.
  • Execute daily warehouse operations, including moving, storing, staging, loading, and unloading equipment and materials.
  • Receive, inspect, verify, and process inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and condition of goods.
  • Support inventory management activities by conducting inventory counts, organizing stock, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Operate warehouse equipment and tools safely and efficiently, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and pneumatic tools.
  • Prepare, stage, strap, and secure loads for transportation to ensure safe handling and delivery.
  • Process orders and support administrative functions related to picking, packing, shipping, and fulfillment workflows.
  • Complete required documentation and administrative records, including receiving logs, equipment inspection logs, and pre-task plans.
  • Maintain warehouse documentation and records, including receipts, packing slips, shipping labels, delivery notes, and other shipping/receiving documentation.
  • Monitor and update inventory records to ensure timely and accurate reporting of material movements and stock availability.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping standards to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Assist with facility and equipment upkeep, including cleaning vehicles and equipment, setting up materials, and building crates or shipping containers as needed.
  • Support field and rigging operations by preparing, organizing, and supplying equipment and materials required for project execution.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs to ensure operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to meet daily productivity, quality, and customer service objectives.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while performing warehouse activities.
  • Follow established safety practices and maintain a safe, organized work environment for team members and visitors.
