About The Position
Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Clerk to assist with daily warehouse operations. This position plays a critical role in shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and maintaining an organized, safe warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable of warehouse work, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures
- Dependable with good attendance and punctuality
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming trucks and unload merchandise
- Load outgoing shipments and prepare materials for distribution
- Pick and fulfill customer orders accurately
- Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute for processing
- Stack and store merchandise on racks, pallets, or shelves
- Stock the warehouse with tools, materials, and essential equipment
- Move materials from racks and package them for shipment
- Check in merchandise and affix appropriate labels
- Sort materials by size, type, style, color, or product code
- Record quantities of items received and shipped
- Identify and report damaged, lost, or surplus merchandise
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and tools
- Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager
