This role is responsible for assisting with shipping and receiving, preparing orders, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Must be able to read and write English.
Basic math skills
Be able to lift 30-75 lbs
Perform repetitive tasks
Long periods of standing at a time

Responsibilities

Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
Open bales, crates, and other containers.
Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed manually. May also assist in counting physical inventory.
Prepare material for distribution and other entities.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; sweep, dust, and mop. Always organize the warehouse and work area for orderliness.
Responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking, and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service.
Wear the proper safety equipment.
Forklift operation for various tasks including maintenance.
Other duties as assigned.
