About The Position
A leading supply chain solutions provider, dedicated to delivering innovative transportation, warehousing, and distribution services, is currently seeking general warehouse labor positions for their distribution center. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the warehouse environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Disinfect production, storage, and common spaces.
- Manage waste by keeping trash and cardboard organized.
- Follow all safety guidelines.
- Touching up walls, doors, and equipment as needed.
- Replacing light bulbs, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring lighting is functional.
- Use proper lifting techniques to prevent injury during unloading.
- Performing scheduled inspections to prevent future issues.
