As a Warehouse Kitting Associate, you will support order processing, material coordination, and kitting activities for the Tucson Proving Ground in Green Valley, AZ. You will build accurate kits, coordinate the movement of parts and materials, and use computer systems to process requests and track material status. Working closely with warehouse and operations teams, you'll help resolve issues, meet service commitments, and ensure materials are available when and where they are needed. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, computer proficiency, analytical thinking, and a customer-focused mindset. The ideal candidate enjoys structured work, takes pride in accuracy, and is motivated by supporting teammates and operational goals in a fast-paced environment. While this position operates within a warehouse setting, it is primarily focused on project-based material support, kitting, and service excellence rather than traditional inventory management.

Requirements

  • Data Gathering & Analysis: Collects and reviews information from systems, reports, and stakeholders to support material coordination, kitting activities, and operational decisions. Uses available data to verify requirements, identify gaps, and support timely execution.
  • Problem Solving: Uses established procedures to identify material, order, and process-related issues. Gathers relevant information, analyzes root causes, and supports corrective actions to ensure operational goals are achieved.
  • Service Excellence: Demonstrates a customer-focused mindset by meeting commitments, supporting operational needs, and responding to requests with urgency, professionalism, and accountability. Builds positive working relationships with internal customers and team members.
  • Analytical Thinking: Applies basic analytical techniques and logical reasoning to understand material requirements, investigate issues, and support operational decision-making. Demonstrates attention to detail and sound judgment when reviewing information and identifying solutions.
  • Inventory Management – Manufacturing: Applies fundamental inventory and material flow processes to support the accurate movement, staging, and handling of parts, kits, and stock locations. Maintains accurate records and follows established procedures to support operational efficiency.

  • Experience supporting kitting, fulfillment, production support, or project-based material coordination activities.
  • Experience processing orders, material requests, work orders, or similar transactional activities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize material kits based on project, testing, and operational requirements.
  • Process material requests and orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify parts, quantities, and documentation before materials are issued.
  • Ensure materials are staged and available according to project schedules and operational needs.
  • Support fulfillment activities while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Coordinate the movement of materials throughout warehouse and operational areas.
  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Assist with locating materials, resolving shortages, and supporting urgent requests.
  • Support internal customers by providing responsive, service-oriented assistance.
  • Utilize computer systems to process orders and track material status.
  • Gather and review information related to orders, kits, shortages, and material availability.
  • Maintain accurate records and transaction documentation.
  • Monitor workflow status and communicate issues proactively.
  • Identify and escalate material, process, or order-related issues.
  • Apply analytical thinking to support issue resolution and process improvements.
  • Follow established procedures while contributing ideas to improve efficiency.
