About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in buildings and facilities. The role involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and performing general janitorial duties as needed. The position pays $17.00 per hour. A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required. ABM notes that the role may be suitable for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain assigned buildings and facilities to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
Clean and sanitize restrooms.
Service and restock restrooms with necessary supplies.
Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors.
Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report any barriers.
Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment manually or with hand trucks to clean areas.
Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
Gather and dispose of trash and recyclables.
Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
Follow proper procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to surfaces and fixtures.
Notify management about the need for repairs or additions to building systems.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Adhere to company, client, and regulatory safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
Complete other duties as assigned.
