About The Position

The Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards in buildings and facilities. The role includes operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and performing general janitorial duties as needed. The shift is Wednesday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pay is $15 per hour, paid weekly. The position may suit someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

One year of similar work experience.
One year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain assigned buildings and facilities to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
Clean and sanitize restrooms.
Service and restock restrooms with necessary supplies.
Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment manually or with hand trucks to clean areas.
Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
Gather and dispose of trash and recyclables.
Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
Follow proper procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damaging surfaces and fixtures.
Notify management of the need for repairs or additions to building systems.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Adhere to safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
Complete other duties as assigned.
