About The Position
The Warehouse Janitorial Associate is responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of our warehouse break rooms and restrooms. Meyer Distributing is a complete wholesale distributor with 85+ locations across the country, servicing dealers nationwide. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to work on their feet for an extended period of time
- Must have basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses
- Must be knowledgeable and familiar with all aspects of custodial service
- Must be willing to work evenings
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have some computer experience and the ability to learn the supply ordering system
Nice To Haves
- Previous cleaning experience is a plus
- Valid IN driver's license
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum
- Dust and wipe clean all furniture
- Restroom cleaning - detailed cleaning and sanitizing, and restocking
- Break room cleaning includes microwaves, counters, sinks, refrigerators, tables, and chairs
- Empty wastebaskets and trash cans
- Charging Manlifts & Forklifts
- Use proper cleaning supplies and equipment for the job
- Practice safety always
- Ordering supplies and shipping to other locations
- All other duties assigned
