About The Position

The Warehouse Janitorial Associate is responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of our warehouse break rooms and restrooms. This is a part-time position with a pay rate of $16.50/hour, offering opportunities for pay increases within the first year. The schedule is from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, totaling 25 hours weekly, with flexibility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to work on their feet for an extended period of time
• Must have basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses
• Must be knowledgeable and familiar with all aspects of custodial service
• Must be willing to work evenings
• Must be able to work independently
• Must have some computer experience and the ability to learn the supply ordering system
• Steel-toed Boots or Shoes

Nice To Haves

• Previous cleaning experience is a plus
• Preferred: Valid IN driver's license

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum
• Dust and wipe clean all furniture
• Restroom cleaning - detailed cleaning and sanitizing, and restocking
• Break room cleaning includes microwaves, counters, sinks, refrigerators, tables, and chairs
• Empty wastebaskets and trash cans
• Charging Manlifts & Forklifts
• Use proper cleaning supplies and equipment for the job
• Practice safety always
• Ordering supplies and shipping to other locations
• All other duties assigned
