About The Position

Monitors each aisle in area of responsibility for damage and spillage. Removes damaged cases to the damage area. Any spillage will be mopped thoroughly, garbage cans are to be emptied as necessary. Responsible to stay on the floor until all selecting is done and assigned area as properly cleaned.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to work with approved cleaning chemicals.
Satisfactory performance reviews.

Responsibilities

Monitor each aisle in area of responsibility for damage and spillage.
Remove damaged cases to damaged area.
Tape and put back in working slot if the case itself is damaged and not the product.
Mop thoroughly any spillage, including removing pallet from slot so it also can be mopped.
Clean any spillage or unsanitary condition anywhere within assigned area.
Empty garbage as needed.
Lock all equipment in supply room at the end of the shift.
Empty and rinse out mop buckets and garbage.
Place all cardboard in baler.
Place all plastic and other garbage in compactor.
Stay on the floor until all selecting is done and assigned area is properly cleaned.
Adhere to all safety policies, procedures and best practices while performing tasks in a manner that promotes safety at all times.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
