About The Position

The Warehouse/Inventory position is responsible for managing the movement, tracking, and storage of materials within the warehouse and inventory systems to ensure accuracy and proper control. This role involves transferring and counting materials, maintaining inventory records, performing cycle counts and adjustments, and supporting inventory variance analysis. The Warehouse/Inventory employee also ensures compliance with proper storage procedures, allergen controls, and internal systems, while supporting efficient operations and accurate material availability. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will manage the movement, tracking, and storage of materials within warehouse and inventory systems to ensure accuracy and proper control. You will support material transfers, maintain inventory records, perform cycle counts, and assist with inventory variance analysis while ensuring compliance with storage procedures and allergen control standards.

Requirements

  • Forklift certification in accordance with plant policy
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Understanding of First Expired, First Out inventory management practices preferred
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Transfer materials, including completed kits and ingredients, to proper locations using required controls and First Expired, First Out methodology while ensuring validation and system accuracy
  • Count, return, and adjust inventory as needed, including unused or expired materials, ensuring proper allergen control procedures and accurate system updates
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and maintain pallet labeling to ensure accurate inventory records across all systems
  • Support inventory variance analysis, including participation in root cause analysis, 5 Why processes, and variance meetings
  • Conduct daily allergen control audits and ensure compliance with storage and handling requirements
  • Assist with physical inventory and maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse, cooler, and flammable storage areas
