We are seeking a WAREHOUSE LEAD to join our team in Cincinnati, OH! Our Warehouse Lead is responsible for performing standard warehousing duties of loading and unloading orders, stocking inventory, and maintaining the warehouse. Additionally our Warehouse Leads also open products for inspection and make repairs (if needed) to new furniture, line up products, follow issued loading lists, load products into a trailer orderly and safely, as well as keep the warehouse clean and free of debris.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
  • Minimum of 1 year of Warehouse experience is required
  • Background in distribution and logistics is required
  • Able to lift up to 70 lbs., carrying, pushing and/or pulling
  • Fundamental knowledge of inventory control
  • Willingness to implement safety procedures and standards in all warehouse operations
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities with temperature extremes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages and fractions

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of Warehouse experience is preferred
  • Comfortable and experienced using barcode scanning system preferred
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Furniture handling experience and distribution experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily functions of receiving HHG’s for storage
  • Perform Warehouse functions (loading and unloading orders, stocking inventory, and maintaining warehouse)
  • Monitor house and assign tasks to Warehouse team
  • Utilize Inventory Control System (Windfall)
  • Planning, organizing and controlling of warehouse overall operations
  • Responsible for security of stock in warehouse
  • Oversees daily distribution of work assignments and material flow
  • Operates heavy forklift work in compliance with OSHA requirements
