About The Position

The Warehouse Lead’s primary function is to oversee 2nd shift warehouse activities. This role is accountable for inventory management and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse during the second shift. The Lead will also provide backup assistance to management and serve as a knowledgeable resource for team members.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of inventory experience preferably in a warehouse setting.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent planning, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Passionate self-starter who can work independently and can also be a team player.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse management system (WMS) experience is a plus.
• Associates Degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the loading of route and transport trucks.
• Provide backup assistance to management.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for employees.
• Responsible for the scheduling and execution of cycle counts daily.
• Assist with month-end inventory.
• Cross train on dispatching and order entry.
• Accept additional responsibilities as assigned to ensure the optimal overall operation of the company.
• Responsible for making sure the plant is locked and secure every night.
