About The Position

The Inventory Control Auditor is responsible for ensuring product inventory on a daily basis including shipping and receiving of customer products consistent with Company objectives. This role involves performing daily cycle counts, ensuring compliance with established procedures for product control, communicating shipment scanning issues to management, identifying damaged items, performing operational checks for procedure adherence, inspecting product storage for quality assurance, accurately documenting audit results, communicating with management and associates, identifying FIFO counts, and maintaining a log of quality control. The position also includes other duties as assigned. The shift for this role is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

  • PC Proficient - Excel, Word, Access and Microsoft Outlook are used
  • Detail oriented
  • Must have excellent mathematical skills

  • Ability to be trained on forklifts, if required
  • High school graduate
  • One to two years experience working in a warehouse environment

Nice To Haves

  • Some college preferred but not required
  • Possess or have ability to become forklift certified
  • Valid Driver’s License or equivalent
  • Hazardous Material Handling Certification or Training preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts of inventory
  • Ensure and comply with all procedures established to ensure product is being properly controlled
  • Communicate all problems and concerns regarding shipment scanning to management
  • Identify damaged items staged in outbound bays
  • Perform various operational checks to monitor adherence to company procedures
  • Inspect the storage of products for quality assurance
  • Accurately document results of inventory audits upon completion
  • Communicate with management and associates on a daily basis
  • Identify FIFO count of inventory in assigned areas
  • Maintain log of quality control
  • Other duties as assigned
