About The Position
S&S Activewear is seeking an inventory control specialist to perform counts and recounts, verify inventories and reports discrepancies. The Inventory Control Associate will be responsible for maintaining the physical order and accuracy of company inventory. All S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.
- Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Must be comfortable using electronic devices.
- Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
- Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
- Must be flexible with start and departure time changing.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Responsible for any additional duties assigned.

Responsibilities
- Perform Daily Cycle Counting of inventory
- Verify bulk inventory for accuracy.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies through research and physical counts.
- Propose corrections to on hand inventory after performing physical inspections
- Process return orders to mills.
- Operate barcode scanner and use warehouse software.
- Prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals
- Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements
- Prepare and pack goods for shipment
- Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, broken or unidentified packages to the supervisor
- Operates machinery including forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and stock chaser.
- Contributes to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment
- Performs inventory counts and reconciles any discrepancies
- Train in Will Call and other customer service duties as required
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center
- Assists with other warehouse or branch duties as needed
- Must be willing to cross train
