About The Position

This role is responsible for managing and analyzing warehouse inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and efficient operations. The analyst will play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy, forecasting needs, and collaborating with various departments to reduce excess stock and improve overall inventory management. The position requires a strong understanding of inventory planning metrics and the ability to utilize data analysis tools to identify trends and areas for improvement. The role also involves generating regular reports for management and supporting company-wide goals in safety, quality, and productivity.

Requirements

5+ years of warehouse inventory analysis management and analysis, or similar experience
Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated aptitude for maintaining inventory accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Determine optimal stock levels, identifying potential shortages or overstocks, and recommending appropriate replenishment levels while adjusting as needed
Perform MRP report to identify and suggest replenishment stock orders within ERP system
Conduct daily bill of material planning reviews to initiate sourcing and purchasing requirements
Responsible for maintaining inventory part information within ERP system
Work closely with sales & operations to forecast and maintain appropriate equipment stock levels
Implementation and maintenance of key inventory planning metrics
Collaborate with relevant departments to reduce excess and obsolete inventory
Utilizing data analysis tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in inventory management and demand planning
Generating regular reports on inventory levels, forecast accuracy, and other key performance indicators
Support company initiatives in safety, quality, and productivity goals and objectives
Compile inventory reports and issue them to management when required
