About The Position

Ryder is hiring an Inventory Management Attendant in Stuart, FL. This role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and supports distribution across the US. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US. We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the Safest Supply Chain Environment with State of the Art Equipment. Products being handled include inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, anchors, etc. Equipment used includes computers and Microsoft Office.

Requirements

  • Clean Driving Record and able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted
  • Ability to Box and Return Tools/Products
  • Good Customer Service Skills
  • Must be able to work with personal accountability and minimal supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years warehouse experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Working knowledge of WMS systems
  • Forklift experience
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and the ability to meet Ryder's driving qualifications

  • Equipment certification may be required, depending on location
  • Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance
  • Create and maintain daily dock schedules
  • Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses
  • Work closely with the Operations Supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
  • Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve any problems with the day's orders
  • Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
  • Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned
