Warehouse Innovation Project Manager
About The Position
The Warehouse Innovation Project Manager will manage multiple warehouse productivity and automation projects. This role involves developing and maintaining detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful execution. The position also requires providing standard operating procedures and guidance to onsite warehouse teams regarding new processes. Collaboration with internal and external teams, including operations, IT, engineering, and third-party vendors, is crucial for driving project success. The role includes analyzing project performance data, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies, as well as analyzing current warehouse layouts, workflows, and processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Regular communication of project updates, key findings, and recommendations to leadership in a clear and concise manner is expected.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in service Logistics, warehouse & 3PL operations within the logistics industry preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and warehouse management systems (WMS/TMS)
- Strong analytical skills, including data analysis, trend tracking, and report creation
- Excellent attention to detail, project planning, and cross-team collaboration
- Willingness to work additional hours, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
- Ability to travel up to 50 % in US
