About The Position

GritR Sports & Outdoors is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Warehouse Inbound Lead to join our growing team. This is a critical leadership role centered on inventory accuracy, management, and seamless inbound operations. Working directly alongside the Inbound Supervisor, you will help coordinate team members for inventory induction, enforce operational best practices, assist with inbound shipment coordination, and lead inventory audits (cycle counts) and discrepancy research.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a warehouse leadership or leadership role.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to stand continually for an 8-hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing incoming shipments and optimizing the receiving dock workflow.
  • Operate the Echo Platform proficiently to track and manage inventory.
  • Lead stock (cycle) counts, audit inventory accuracy, and conduct root-cause research on discrepancies.
  • Maintain and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational consistency.
  • Onboard, train, and coach new hires and existing team members on best practices.
  • Assist Supervisor and Management in maintaining KPI reporting, monitoring employee metrics, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Effectively document employee disciplinary actions and performance milestones in partnership with Supervisor and Management.
  • Oversee daily opening procedures to ensure operational flow for team members.
  • Maintain clear, proactive communication lines between the Inbound Supervisor, Warehouse Managers, and floor team members.
