About The Position

The position is responsible for supporting the door build process by working safely and efficiently with other associates to create products desired at Kohler’s Union City facility. This is to include the following job instructions (JI’s), problem solving, and quality checks where applicable.

Requirements

Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.
Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Forklift license required
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Work overtime and/or non-regular hours as needed
Work in other areas as needed
Conduct developmental testing as requested
Novice computer skills
Communicate effectively between shifts
Work with minimum supervision
CDL/DOT Compliant
All other duties as assigned

Actively participate in developmental training as outlined or recommended.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Operator must have forklift operator’s license.
Follow 5-S rules, PPE, and safe work practices.
Must be able to pull orders correctly from packing tickets, maintain accurate records, operate a stand-up lift safely and efficiently.
Maintain minimum standards for pulling orders.
Load trucks correctly based on information on pick tickets.
Follow Department SOP’s.
Physical ability to perform the essential duties of the position
Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, including bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 45-106 pounds or more.
Consistent attendance and work performance.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
