About The Position

In this seasonal role, the Warehouse II Forklift Operator performs a mix of warehouse and customer service duties, including operating a forklift, unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and assisting at the counter. Time is split between counter and warehouse duties. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, at a Ft. Worth, Texas location. The opportunity may provide a path to demonstrate skills on the job and be considered for long-term employment. The position pays $19 per hour. Offers are contingent upon successfully completing a background check and drug screen, subject to applicable local, state, and federal laws. Minor offenses will not necessarily disqualify candidates; situations are reviewed by HR for compliance with applicable laws and role requirements.

Requirements

At least 1 year of related warehouse or forklift operation experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts and hydraulic jack lifts.
Strong customer service skills.
Comfort using a computer.
Flexibility to split time between warehouse and counter duties.
Basic reading, writing, and numerical ability.
Effective verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification preferred.
A valid driver’s license with a good driving record may be required.

Responsibilities

Operate powered equipment, including forklifts and hydraulic jack lifts, to move materials safely and efficiently.
Unload trucks and organize warehouse inventory to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Assist customers and handle counter duties, providing customer service support.
Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect the condition of materials and products.
Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
Record received and shipped items using written and computerized documentation.
Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas as needed.
