SERVPRO of Richmond, Chesterfield, Henrico, and Tri-Cities is expanding and seeking a motivated, reliable, and personable full-time Warehouse Helper to join their team in Chantilly, VA. This is a family-run business with over 35 years of experience in disaster restoration, known for its close-knit, family environment and commitment to helping the community. The Warehouse Helper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and office, performing deliveries, restocking supplies, undertaking basic maintenance, and potentially performing grounds keeping activities. Safety is emphasized, with the use of proper PPE required.

Requirements

Must be able to work with little or no supervision
Must have good working knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures
Must have a valid driver's license
Must possess good interpersonal skills to interact with fellow workers and customers of the organization

Responsibilities

Cleans all areas of the warehouse and office, including mopping floors, dusting, and vacuuming
Empty trash cans on a regular basis
Carry out additional cleaning duties as instructed by management
Perform job site deliveries of equipment, supplies, etc.
Restocks breakrooms and restrooms with janitorial supplies
Undertake basic maintenance tasks related to building operating systems
May perform grounds keeping activities such as cleaning snow, mowing lawns, raking leaves, and general grounds maintenance
Utilizes safe work practices and uses proper PPE in the performance of all tasks
