Warehouse Helper Keeper
About The Position
BCAA is seeking two (2) Warehouse Helpers for their Burnaby, BC location. These are Full-time Temporary roles, expected to conclude on August 29, 2026. The primary function of this role is to support warehouse operations and prepare shared e-Bikes and e-Scooters for daily deployment. This involves organizing and staging devices, cleaning fleet equipment, swapping and charging batteries, performing basic visual inspections, and ensuring devices are ready for use. A significant part of the role also includes warehouse organization and inventory management, such as maintaining an orderly storage of batteries, chargers, helmets, tools, and parts, while ensuring the workspace is clean, safe, and adheres to safety procedures. The Warehouse Helper will also assist fleet leads and mechanics with daily warehouse and operational support, report any damaged devices or safety concerns, and contribute to maintaining an efficient and organized work environment. The work schedule operates Monday through Sunday.
Requirements
- Comfortable lifting up to 90lbs.
- Knowledge of cell phone applications.
Responsibilities
- Organizing and staging devices for daily deployment.
- Cleaning fleet equipment.
- Swapping and charging batteries.
- Conducting basic visual inspections of devices.
- Ensuring devices are properly prepared and ready for operational use.
- Maintaining orderly storage of batteries, chargers, helmets, tools, and parts.
- Keeping the workspace clean, safe, and compliant with safety procedures.
- Assisting fleet leads and mechanics with day-to-day warehouse and operational support tasks.
- Reporting damaged devices or safety concerns.
- Maintaining an efficient and organized working environment.
- Supporting stock counts of consumables and reporting shortages to supervisors.
- Verifying that devices meet operational standards (battery level, physical condition, firmware indicators).
- Tagging or isolating devices requiring repair and reporting issues to mechanics or fleet leads.
- Tracking battery rotation to ensure healthy charging cycles and reduce downtime.
- Wiping down and cleaning fleet devices, helmets, racks, and signage.
- Performing light maintenance tasks such as tightening bolts, adjusting components, and replacing minor consumables as instructed.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and fleet quality.
