About The Position

This role involves performing various warehouse duties, including picking, packing, palletizing, loading, and operating material handling equipment. The position requires flexibility to work in different warehouse environments (freezer, perishable, grocery) and assist in other departments as needed, including overtime. A strong commitment to safety, reliability, productivity, and quality is essential.

Requirements

Ability to operate pallet jack and other required materials handling equipment (MHE).
Ability to operate battery hoist.
Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Demonstrates commitment and ability to work safely.

Ability to maintain required productivity/work expectations.
Never crawling, sitting.
Occasionally climbing up to 4 ft. (Must have fall protection training and using proper fall protection equipment).

Frequently crouching.
Frequently pushing and pulling up to 60 Lbs.
Continuously handling, gripping, carrying, and lifting, up to 60 Lbs.
Continuously feeling, pivoting, stooping, and reaching (level: Waist/overhead, etc.).
Continuously standing and walking on surface type (s): Carpet, tile, concrete.
Continuously fingering, hearing, seeing and repetitive movement using both hands and feet.
High School Diploma or GED.
0-2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Utilizes Order Picker to pick products for customer orders or replenish pick slots.
Manually picks cases of product from warehouse racks to fill customer orders.
Builds pallets of products to fill orders, ensuring heavy products are at the bottom and wrapping them.
Loads pallets onto trailers, potentially operating an electric pallet jack.
Compiles un-palletized products onto pallets.
Operates a Stand-Up Forklift to put away or let down pallets into warehouse racks.
Manually stocks/picks cases of product into warehouse racks.
Records daily actions using a Radio Frequency Computer Terminal.
Selects full case grocery/perishable/frozen items, fits them on a pallet, wraps them, and loads them onto a trailer.
Operates an electric pallet jack or clamp machine to transport pallets from inbound trucks.
Cleans and maintains warehouse aisles and product slots, including cleaning slots with supplies and an electric scrubber.
Cleans warehouse offices, employee break areas, and restrooms.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
