About The Position

As a Warehouse Generalist, you will fill in for any position in the warehouse including, but not limited to: Selector, Dock Worker, Palletizer, etc. This role involves performing a variety of warehouse duties across different environments including freezer, perishable, and grocery sections. The position requires flexibility to work various roles as needed and willingness to assist in other departments and work overtime to meet business needs.

Requirements

Ability to operate pallet jack and other required materials handling equipment (MHE).
Ability to operate battery hoist.
Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Demonstrates commitment and ability to work safely.
Reliability and maintenance of satisfactory attendance.
Produce quality work.
Ability to maintain required productivity/work expectations.
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
Never crawling or sitting.
Continuously handling, gripping, carrying, and lifting up to 60 Lbs.
Continuously feeling, pivoting, stooping, and reaching (level: Waist/overhead, etc.).
Continuously standing and walking on various surfaces (Carpet, tile, concrete).
Continuously fingering, hearing, seeing and repetitive movement using both hands and feet.
Frequently pushing and pulling up to 60 Lbs.
Frequently crouching.
Occasionally climbing up to 4 ft. (Must have fall protection training and use proper fall protection equipment).
Occasionally smelling, balancing, kneeling, and talking.

Responsibilities

Perform duties of a Warehouse Worker, including utilizing an Order Picker to pick products, manually picking cases, building pallets, and loading trailers.
Fit products on a pallet, ensuring heavy products are on the bottom to reduce damage, plastic wrapping them, and loading them onto a trailer.
Operate an electric pallet jack to load pallets of products onto delivery trucks.
Compile un-palletized products onto pallets.
Perform duties of a Warehouse Clerk.
Perform duties of a Forklift Operator, including maneuvering a Stand-Up Forklift to put away or let down pallets and manually stocking/picking cases.
Record daily actions using a Radio Frequency Computer Terminal.
Perform duties of a Selector, including selecting full case grocery/perishable/frozen items, fitting them on a pallet, wrapping them, and loading them onto a trailer.
Perform duties of a Backhauler, including operating an electric pallet jack or clamp machine to transport pallets of product off inbound trucks.
Perform duties of a Porter, including cleaning and maintaining warehouse aisles and product slots, removing product, cleaning slots with supplies and an electric scrubber, and replacing product.
Clean warehouse offices, employee break areas, and restrooms.
Work to the end of shift, including necessary overtime, to meet business needs.
Assist in other departments based upon business needs.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
