About The Position

As a Warehouse Generalist, you will fill in for any position in the warehouse including, but not limited to: Selector, Dock Worker, Palletizer, etc. This role requires performing various duties within the warehouse, adapting to different roles as needed to meet business demands. The position involves working in different temperature-controlled environments, including freezer, perishable, and grocery warehouses. Flexibility and willingness to work overtime and assist in other departments are essential.

Requirements

Ability to operate pallet jack and other required materials handling equipment (MHE).
Ability to operate battery hoist.

Responsibilities

Perform duties of a Warehouse Worker, including utilizing an Order Picker to pick products, manually picking cases of product, building pallets, and loading them onto a trailer.
Operate an electric pallet jack to load pallets of products onto delivery trucks.
Compile un-palletized products onto pallets.
Perform duties of a Warehouse Clerk.
Perform duties of a Forklift Operator, including maneuvering a Stand-Up Forklift to put away or let down pallets and recording daily actions using a Radio Frequency Computer Terminal.
Perform duties of a Selector, including selecting full case grocery/perishable/frozen items, fitting them on a pallet, wrapping them, and loading them onto a trailer.
Perform duties of a Backhauler, including operating an electric pallet jack or clamp machine to transport pallets of product off inbound trucks.
Perform duties of a Porter, including cleaning and maintaining warehouse aisles and product slots, removing product, cleaning slots with supplies and an electric scrubber, and replacing product. Also includes cleaning warehouse offices, employee break areas, and restrooms.
Must be able to work to the end of shift to include necessary overtime in order to meet business needs.
Willing to assist in other departments based upon business needs.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
