About The Position

EquipmentShare is seeking a Warehouse Fulfillment Associate for their Distribution Center in Columbia, MO. This role is crucial in transforming the construction industry through innovative technology and real-time support. The associate will be responsible for picking and packing customer orders, building kits, offloading delivery trucks, and adhering to company policies, warehouse SOPs, and safety procedures.   • Must be willing to work until the end of shift and/or until all assigned work is completed — end time may vary depending on operational needs.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of work experience
  • Ability to load / unload trucks as required.
  • Operate warehouse scanning equipment, computers, and other technical devices that are used in automated operations.
  • Ability to move about the facility on a regular basis to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, or walking.
  • Visual and hearing acuity.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Experience in Fulfillment Operations or any other Supply Chain disciplines is a plus.
  • ERP experience a plus, specifically with Microsoft and Google suite of systems

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties in support of activities related to the picking, packing & shipping of internal and external orders with 100% accuracy.
  • Responsible for the loading and unloading of trucks throughout the day as needed.
  • Count products being received and/or shipped to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Follow all SOP and work instruction guidelines.
  • Attend daily pre-shift meetings to understand internal communications, daily expectations and goals, review of previous days, weeks, months KPI’s, as well as safety topics and reminders.
  • Understand specific pre-shift and end of shift responsibilities such as area prep, area clean up, proper charging of forklifts, scanners or other tools that are used in normal daily activities.
  • Participate in cross functional projects to develop a best-in-class supply chain operation, as assigned.
  • Ask any questions after the training program to ensure re-training or additional oversight as needed.
  • Comply with company SOP’s regarding fulfillment practices to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant shipment of internal and external orders.
  • Ensures department activities are compliant with all Company processes and requirements, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
