About The Position

The Warehouse Freight Specialist is responsible for accurately preparing and shipping wholesale freight orders on a timely basis. Stonewall Kitchen’s Distribution Center isn’t just another warehouse. Requirements

• Solid written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, listening skills and coaching/supporting skills, presentation skills
• Experience in Microsoft Office- specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment as needed
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand, bend, squat, reach, kneel, stoop, stretch
• High School degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a warehouse setting
• Experience with inventory control and SKU management desired

Responsibilities

• Prepare all documentation for shipments (e.g., bills of lading)
• Provide support to the Warehouse EDI specialist
• Create special labeling for selected vendors
• Accurately follow directions using vendor routing guides
• Coordination of all transportation operations to support facility, including, but not limited to coordination of all LTL transportation, carrier management, planning and execution of tradeshow logistics
• Coordinate ship dates for accurate and timely shipment of orders
• Secure best in class for specific modes to assure reliable service and competitive costs
• Cross train to other outbound areas to assist as needed
• Assist in managing, processing, and resolving all product returns accurately and efficiently
