About The Position

The Warehouse Forklift Operator performs warehouse duties in all temperature zones, including replenishing selection slots and moving products to assigned areas. The role supports warehouse operations through order selection, product put-away, and other tasks as needed by warehouse management. Employees may work in temperature zones ranging from 10 degrees below zero to unregulated areas that can exceed 100 degrees in summer. The position requires frequent lifting of 30–60 pounds and occasional lifting of 100 pounds. Knowledge of products and warehouse locations is essential.

Requirements

• Ability to follow safety rules and guidelines and strictly adhere to safety requirements.
• Basic reading and spelling skills for completing paperwork.
• Ability to work in extreme cold or hot temperatures.
• Solid interpersonal skills and good communication skills.
• Ability to receive and follow directions and to multitask.
• Customer-focused, with strong attention to detail and an excellent work ethic.
• High school diploma.
• Knowledge of products and warehouse locations.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the food industry.
• Knowledge of the KWCS system.

Responsibilities

• Replenish pick locations in the assigned area using information from the KWCS system and management direction.
• Move received products to assigned warehouse locations.
• Support warehouse operations, including order selection, product put-away, and other tasks assigned by warehouse management.
• Operate warehouse equipment as assigned or needed, including a cherry picker, forklift, mid-rider, and pallet jack.
• Maintain a clean, safe, orderly work area by clearing debris, damaged cases, and shrink wrap from assigned aisles.
