About The Position
The Warehouse Forklift Operator is responsible for loading outbound trucks, putting away inbound merchandise, and performing clean-up duties. This role requires operating a forklift safely and efficiently within a warehouse setting. The position is scheduled for 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $21 per hour. Requirements
- Must be able to read and write so that written instructions and shipping papers can be easily followed and that corrections and needed information can be easily filled.
- Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
- Must be able to pass our forklift operators test after a normal training procedure.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of building materials a plus.
Responsibilities
- Put away or stock inbound materials.
- Pull customers’ orders from inventory on hand.
- Load company and customer vehicles with outbound materials.
- Safely operate a forklift to assist in handling of materials.
- Sweep and clean warehouse and pick up trash.
- Observe all safety rules (i.e., safety glasses, ear plugs, Lock Out/Tag Out, etc.).
- Assist in counting inventory.
