The Warehouse Forklift Operator (WTO) role involves pre-shift inspections of the forklift, operating the forklift to manage tire inventory (stocking, preparing for loading, returning pallets), and operating a touch-screen monitor. The operator must be able to lift propane tanks for refilling. This role is classified as medium work, involving lifting up to 50 lbs. and frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs., with frequent reaching and twisting, and occasional bending.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED recommended
Applicants without a High School Diploma or GED, must complete In-House Competency Test (non-core jobs only) to be deemed eligible
0-1 year of manufacturing experience needed
No relocation assistance is offered for this position

The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

Pre-shift inspection of fork lift
Notify supervisor if fork lift needs repairs made
Operate fork lift to put tires into stock, set tires up to be loaded onto trailer, or return empty pallets
Operator must be able to lift propane tank for tank fill at the propane refilling station
