Warehouse / Forklift Operator
About The Position
This is a hands-on, physical role inside one of Florida's largest independent HVAC and refrigeration distribution operations. You are not just moving product. You are the reason 23 locations and the contractors who depend on them keep running without interruption. Tropic Supply was built by people like you, and we need one more. We have been family-owned and operated for more than 53 years. That kind of longevity does not happen by accident. It happens because we take care of the people who take care of us, our customers and our team alike, and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of a team that stays.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience operating a sit-down forklift, required. This is not a trainable requirement.

- Strong attention to detail with a track record of order and inventory accuracy
- Clear communication and a reliable work ethic that does not require constant supervision
- Follows process correctly and asks when unsure, rather than guessing
- Takes pride in physical work done right, not just done fast
- Treats a wrong pull or a missed serial number as a problem worth catching, not something to shrug off
- Shows up ready, stays accountable, and can be counted on without being told twice
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and trailers, positioning and securing pallets safely
