About The Position
This is a temporary 3rd shift Warehouse Forklift Operator position (C shift) with a pay rate of $19.50/hr. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. Training will be provided for a minimum of two weeks on the 1st shift, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The role requires the ability to be on your feet for the entire shift and must be physically fit to meet the demands of the position, which involves significant up and down movement. Comfort with heights is essential, as the job involves working on elevated racks.
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience, at least 1 year
- At least 1-year consistent warehouse and forklift experience
- Ability to be on your feet for the duration of your shift
- Must be physically fit to meet the demands of this position
- Must be comfortable with heights
- Must read and sign Sovena Plant Requirements and Timeclock Procedures
Nice To Haves
- Training on man lifts (approximately 35+ feet up on 5 levels/racks, with harnesses)
- After about 3-4 weeks of forklift training, training on man ups will commence.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift efficiently and properly
- Scan pallets and put away in the correct warehouse location
- Assist in warehouse order fulfillment as needed
- General warehouse clean up
- Responsible for adhering to all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
